In our afterschool program, Inti students interviewed our new SNHU volunteers and then presentation the information to the whole group. Over the winter months, students will explore famous artists by reading their biographies, discussing important events in their lives, as well as share what they learned to the rest of the group. This Artist Study will prepare the children for the Currier Art School program. We also look forward to a unit of study that focusing on healthy habits. This health program will be taught by nursing students from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Manchester campus.
Inti Academy began 2014 with Futsal playoffs where our Inti players performance was top notch. Inti’s U9, U12, and U15 teams earned a spot into the second round of the play-offs only to fall short of victory. The New Year also brought the addition of Inti’s High School team. The team consist of 15 players, some new to the country, but most former members of Inti. A third practice session was also added on Wednesdays to allow proper training time for the new High School group.
