Inti Spotlight : Dorocasi Kwizera

Dorocasi Kwizera was born in Burundi, Africa and lived there until the age of eight. She remembers playing soccer during her free time at school.  Dorocasi and her friends would make soccer balls out of plastic bags and other things they would find. In 2007, she moved to the United States with her parents and four siblings. When she first arrived, she was amazed by all the lights and cars. Two years later, she was recruited by her friend Hosanna to play soccer with Inti Academy. Dorocasi says, “I like how all the people at Inti are different and how we all get along. Inti is a place where I can practice my English and play soccer.” Kwizera is a member of Inti’s U15 team while her sister Frorance is with the U13. A freshmen at Central High School, Dorocasi plans to be a Nurse so she can help others.
